FORM Update (week 4)

I cannot believe we are now on week 4 of FORM - it has really whizzed by, but has been an amazing experience so far.  We have such a great bunch of FORM students (12 in total) and everyone seems to share and contribute to the sessions, which encourages everyone on their learning journey.  It's wonderful to have so many different speakers in the first term (20 in total) and listen to some great subjects;  sometimes we hear their own testimony - it's always encouraging to hear their own life stories and what's on their heart.

David and Helen (the two gap year students) are such a blessing - they both just get 'stuck in' to any project, serving, outreach activity. We've enjoyed some fun outreach activities together - painting at Bredfield, talk with Suffolk Wildlife Trust in prep for help with school visit, visit to All Hallows Convent and today was our first chance to witness in Woodbridge by handing out the Just10 leaflets. We didn't really get challenged or receive any negative reaction - Woodbridge folk just seem so incredibly polite !  We even managed to sneak in a few 'Sir' and 'Madams',  in the hope that our shear politeness would encourage them to respond to Just10, and maybe St. John's will gain a reputation for being such a polite bunch !

So for our first witness and outreach opportunity, I feel it went really well -  now we just pray that the Lord will sow a seed in the hearts of all the people who received the leaflet,  and they  respond to His calling...
