Second term is on it's way....!

Wow - we have had such a variety of teaching at Form in the first term and it hasn't just involved sitting in a room listening to someone!  We have had speakers cover deep subjects one week, to creative writing sessions another week and then a further week a mixture of discipleship teaching and practical outreach combined!

Great start to Form+

Form+ started on Monday 12 September where 10 enthusiastic people came together to start their exciting learning and discipleship journey.  This year we have :  Becky Overy-Owen, Mel Robinson, Tracy Watson-Brown, Stephen David, Simon Burnham-Slipper, Amanda Magotte, Nigel Harding, Susan Lockwood, Amanda Kiernon and Caroline Scott. A group photo will be updated shortly.

Farewell Form 2010/11!

It has been a massive privilege to be part of this year, co-ordinating and planning Form.  The teaching sessions have been outstanding and I thank all the speakers who have planned, prepared and delivered some brilliant subjects.

Exciting Third and Final Term!

We are having an exciting and challenging third term at Form.  After a first and second term's teaching at focussing on foundational biblical subjects and discipleship, we are now covering some deep subjects, such as 'Creation and Science', 'Fivefold Ministry', 'Spiritual Warfare', 'Heaven' and lots of other subjects for us to get our teeth into!

Creativity Challenge!

The start of this term has provided us with alot of challenging areas to think about, pray about and work through.  A lot of the teaching has been around how God has shaped us, gifted us and living out the purpose He has for our lives.  What a challenge ...it's hard enough trying to work out what we want to do with our lives in the future and on a daily basis !  However, one thing we took away with us from this teaching was that God will reveal all things to us in His timing, as we walk with Him - we don't have to know it all now (phew!).  The teaching sessions helped us

End of First Term

We're now coming to the end of the first term -  sad but exciting, as we have some fantastic teaching lined up in the second term!

The FORM Retreat - All Hallows Convent Ditchingham

The FORM retreat was held at All Hallows Convent in Ditchingham Norfolk and what a place !  The retreat house at the convent is set in 22 acres of garden and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

FORM is great !

The teaching sessions at FORM are truly amazing.

Another Challenging Week!

The Lord has blessed us with another great week at FORM.  Andrew Lord's teaching on 'Worship' challenged us in many ways, addressing how we worship God with all of our lives and not merely singing a few hymns.  It was great to understand the biblical view and how it should apply to our daily act of worship  - Andrew presented a helpful picture of a torn heart with a plaster representing how we should come before God as broken people, worshipping Him for His goodness, greatness, love and mercy and then allowing God to repair us in His image - this illustration w

FORM Update (week 4)

I cannot believe we are now on week 4 of FORM - it has really whizzed by, but has been an amazing experience so far.  We have such a great bunch of FORM students (12 in total) and everyone seems to share and contribute to the sessions, which encourages everyone on their learning journey.  It's wonderful to have so many different speakers in the first term (20 in total) and listen to some great subjects;  sometimes we hear their own testimony - it's always encouraging to hear their own life stories and what's on their heart.
