Uganda Mission Trip Report

Hey It's Lizzy back from the dead! (well I didn't really die, just returned to the FORM office, YAY)

I was privileged to join this years FORMEEs (and Noelle, Chris and Bishop Dave) to go to Uganda for 12 days on mission. I absolutely loved it!
We joined with St John's, Kamwokya going out on door to door evangelism. This involved speaking to people on the streets, in business', and in the slums about Jesus. I found this really challenging, but knew that God's strength was with us all. I loved doing the school assemblies with the kids. We taught them some songs- mainly 'Jesus' love is very wonderful' and 'Our God is a great big God' OLD SCHOOL! They loved it though. We also did a drama sketch of Zacchaeus, which got funnier every time we did it, mainly because of our acting skills, but the kids found it hilarious. There were revival meetings in the evening to finish the day, praising and thanking God- overall these were quite good, though the worship was interesting at times. Andrew Lord would of had a fit at how many key changes there were in one song (8)!
We were also reunited with Sylvan (YAY) which made me very happy. TEAM FORM 08-09 reunited :] He's doing well and enjoying his course, but very busy with it and has exams coming up soon. He sends his love to everyone back at St John's.
Lots of Love, Lizzy (Plumface) FORM student 08-09 x
