Lent Lunches

This year these will be served at the Salvation Army Centre each Thursday in Lent from 12 noon - 1.30 pm starting on Thursday 25 February

Exploring Issues

The next meeting will be at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 16th March, at the home of Canon and Mrs David Boyes, 13 Magdalen Drive Woodbridge IP12 4EF”. Canon Jeremy Harrold will open a discussion on “The Canon of Scripture: How the Bible Was Compiled”. All welcome.

Pastoral Care Course

When? Saturday mornings 20th March, 24th April and 22nd May (guaranteed not to run into the afternoons).
What’s covered? What we mean by pastoral care – how we care – confidentiality – listening skills – hospital visiting – loss and bereavement – and more!
How? Handouts – discussion – case studies – various speakers – optional role play – what the Bible has to say….
Who is it for? Anyone interested…small group leaders…potential pastoral visitors…those who want to be a better friend and neighbour…those at a loose end on Saturday mornings…any age…no obligation and no pressure

Fairtrade Wine Tasting

In response to Fairtrade Fortnight which started on 22nd Feb. Just42 have arranged a Fairtrade Wine Tasting on Sat 17th April. Time 7 – 8.30pm at the Woodbridge Youth Centre. Tickets just £15 - London based wine expert Jude Mullins will be there to guide us through the wines. Spaces limited so book early through caroline[at]just42.org[dot]uk or 01394 380992.
