Each year part of our church’s annual budget is set aside to be given on members' behalf to various Christian outreach activities, usually one with which we have some ongoing connection. The allocation is considered prayerfully by the World Mission Action Group and recommendations made to the PCC.
The money is then sent to the various organisations on behalf of the whole membership of St Johns, because this money comes from general donations to the church and is additional to the personal giving of many members.
Most of our cheques are sent in December and early in 2006 we received numerous letters expressing thanks to the people of St Johns. Thanks have come from (in no particular order!):

- Church Pastoral Aid Society
- Mission Aviation Fellowship
- Church’s Ministry among Jewish People
- South American Missionary Society
- Barnabus Fund
