One of the speakers at Alive 08 will be Jim Wallis who has met with George Bush, Gordon Brown, Bono and other high-profile figures on many occasions to discuss global issues. The founder of Sojourners (an American network of Christians working for justice and peace), he speaks at over 200 events a year and writes for several major U.S. newspapers, including The New York Times and Los Angeles Times. He lives in Washington with his wife and their two children.
