Pastoral Care

We believe that the best pastoral care happens through meaningful relationships, we have lots of opportunities for you to get to know others in our community.

Life Groups

If you would like to meet regularly with others in a smaller group, this is a really great way to get to know others better in a large church like St John's. It is through life groups that we give and receive the necessary emotional and spiritual support through all life's ups and downs..

Please see our Life Groups page for further details.

The Pastoral Care Team.

If you have any pastoral needs, we can help connect you with others in times of difficulty such as bereavement or illness, or if you are housebound or lonely.  We can also arrange visiting and communion by extension if you are unable to get to church.  Please contact the Church Office for further details.

The Pastoral Events Group

We organise three informal events a year which take place in church to which we invite the more senior members of our community, many of whom have difficulty getting out and about. We aim to make these joyful times and usually include tea and a short service
